In light of the COVID-19 situation, the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service has asked most employees to temporarily begin working remotely.

You can still call the office at 479-637-2173 and we will make sure any questions you may have are answered in timely manner.

You can also get in touch with them  through email: Shaun at srhoades@uaex.edu, Debbie at dmiller@uaex.edu, and Gwen at gvaughn@uaex.edu or through this Facebook page.

Please LIKE and SHARE their page with others as we are planning some timely and educational posts and videos to help keep you updated and informed.

Please tell other farmers and interested folks to like this page so we can reach people.

Making plans for a garden?

Need to test your pasture land to get maximum forage production?

Want your flowers to be showstoppers this year?

No problem! There is a drop off box outside the west doors of the Waldron courthouses for soil and plant samples.

Bring them a pint of dry soil in a zip lock bag and follow the instructions on the sign which is attached to the box. The box will be checked often and sent in quickly so that you can get your results and go to work ASAP.

Be sure to check out their page often as they are making use of technology to continue to serve our clientele while still doing their part to stop the spread.
