Nowadays, not everyone can keep up with the new technology such as cell phones, computers, and cars. They now contain all kinds of automation.

My wife and I just purchased a new car because we had to give our old vehicle to our daughter for her to use driving to college. Our new car gives us lots of complications and headaches because of the advanced technology. For example, we can just step on the brake and press the button to start the engine. We no longer have to manually adjust our seats either.

On the other hand, new car technology can benefit us in many ways as well. The new car has many features such as hands free communication, GPS features, and even safety warnings alerting us of when when we’re backing up the car.

One interesting story that I like to share is that I love to travel whenever I can, and some countries where I went to eat at have a roll of toilet tissue sitting on the table. I asked my sister-in-law what was this for? She replied with a friendly smile, “It’s used as cleaning paper.” I told her that it’s unpleasant and I hesitated to use it since all the restaurants back in the U.S. use paper towels instead of this type of tissue. My sister-In-law told me to get use to it.

Life is too short: We have to accept that things change as time goes on just like other stuff, whether we like it or not.

I believe that whatever that change is can benefit us in some ways even though we are not used to it at first, we can be willing to learn.
