The Scott County Boys and Girls Club will celebrate 21 years in Scott County at their annual banquet on Thursday, Feb. 21 at the Waldron High School Commons.

During the celebration, club members, directors, and community leaders will be speaking to guests about the strives the club has made over the past two decades. 

Jeff Crumpton will be this year’s featured speaker. Crumpton has served as a teacher and basketball coach in Scott County, but now calls Benton home where he also coaches and teaches. According to the Club, Crumpton, “Is a firm believer and supporter of growing the children of our future.”

There will be a live and silent auction at the event. Proceeds from the auctions and tickets sales will go toward the daily operation of the organization.

The Club services  more than 100 children in and around Scott County through various programs including music, after-school study assistance, gardening, and much more.
