On Monday, May 13, the Scott County Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee held their annual Farm Day for Waldron 3rd grade students at the Davis Angus Farm. There were seven stations of learning for the students. Some of these stations included a seed and plant station, a snack station, a sheep and goat station, and a roping station. Regina Oliver handed out SCFB back packs loaded with great beef and sheep info and activities and a delicious snack and drink.
She also spoke to the students about the importance of farmers and ranchers. She used the example of a cookie and how many different farmers and ranchers it takes to make one cookie.
