It's Scott County Fair Week

Scott County Fair Week has arrived! The following is this year’s schedule:

Tuesday: September 3, 2019 – Noon until 6:00 PM, Home Economics entry check-in for everything except Food Preparation (Baked Goods & Candy) and Fresh Cut Flowers; 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Commercial Booth/Agriculture Trade Show set up.

Wednesday: September 4, 2019 – 7:00 AM until 9:00 AM, Home Economics entry check-in for Food Preparation and Fresh Cut Flowers; 9:00 AM until 4:30 PM, Home Economics judging (Building closed during Judging starting at 9:00 AM); Noon until 5:00 PM, Commercial Booth/Ag Trade Show Set Up; 4:00 PM, Poultry Chain Testing – Outside Fair Grounds; Noon until 8:00 PM, Cattle, Goats, Hogs, Sheep, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, and Poultry Check-In; 5:00 PM, Home Economics and Commercial Building open to the public; 7:00 PM, Gospel Singing and Worship.

Thursday: September 5, 2019 – 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM, School Days (Grades Pre-K, K, and 1st); 9:00 AM, Extension Homemakers building opens; 10:00 AM, Poultry Judging and Livestock Judging.

Friday: September 6, 2019 – 8:30 AM until 2:00 PM, School Days (Grades 2nd, 3rd, and 4th); 9:00 AM Rabbit Judging; 5:00 PM, Junior Livestock Buyer’s Dinner and Auction; 8:00 PM, Rodeo Playday.

Saturday: September 7, 2019 – 9:00 AM, Extension Homemakers Building, Commercial Building Open; 10:00 AM, Kid’s Cookie Contest, Skeet Tournament, Farmer’s Market; 11:00 AM, Pet Show; 11:30 AM, 4-H Poultry Chain Auction; 12:00 PM, Rides and Midway; 5:00 PM, Home Economics Entry Check-Out and Livestock Released; 5:00 PM Commercial Booth/Farmer’s Market Closing.
