McBryde named CMA  ‘New Artist of the Year’

Waldron hometown girl, Ashley McBryde, was the 2019 CMA New Artist of the Year recipient during the 53rd Country Music Association awards held on Nov. 13, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee.

McBryde is a former resident of Waldron and lived here as a child with her parents and siblings. 

She later moved to Mammoth Springs, Arkansas. Her parents are Dr. William McBryde and Marty Wilkins.
