Billy Joe Brown

Billy Joe Brown, 77, of Waldron, Arkansas, passed away July 23, at his home. 

He was born October 31, 1940 in Scott County, Arkansas to the late Fred Wilbur and Myrtle Marie (Himes) Brown. 

Billy is survived by six children; Billy Jo Brown, Jr. and wife Randi of Waldron, Billy John Brown and wife Brandy of Waldron, Billy Jack Brown and wife Terra of Booneville, Billy Jason Brown and wife Christie of Waldron, Robert Henderson of Waldron, Kim Burnett and husband Charlie of Waldron, numerous grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one brother Bill Brown and by many adopted grandkids along the way, they all knew him as “Papa Joe”. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Robert Brown, Gene Shores and by one sister Billie Brown. 

Funeral was held 10 AM Friday July 27, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Williams officiating. 

Burial will follow the service at Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Waldron. 

Pallbearers were will be Billy Joe Brown, Jr., Billy John Brown, Billy Jack Brown, Robert Henderson, James Morgan and Billy Zackery Brown. 

Honorary pallbearers were Billy lane Brown, Chris Bennett, Brayden Houston, Tristen Brumbelow, Jerry Bob Metcalf, Bob Ammons, Buck Matthews, Tommy Joe Ballard and John Cox.
