Bennie Jean Speck

Bennie Jean Speck, age 91, a resident of Benton, Arkansas and formerly of De Queen, AR, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021, in Benton.   

She was born July 14, 1929, in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Speck enjoyed spending time with her family and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of De Queen. 

Mrs. Speck was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Martin and Lonnie Mae Kendrick Renfrow and husband Arthur William Speck. 

She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Deborah and Jim Northum of Benton, Arkansas and Sherry Harris of De Queen; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sonya Renfrow of Horatio; one sister, Sandra Renfrow of Fort Smith, AR; three grandchildren, Jess William and wife Dakota Northum, Taylor Harris and Ben Renfrow. 

Due to COVID a private burial will be held.  

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude PL Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
