Jerry Wayne York

Jerry Wayne York, 85, of Van Buren, Arkansas formerly of Waldron, Arkansas passed away on August 31, 2021. He was born March 20, 1936 in Waldron, Arkanas to the late Les Smith and Ebie York.

Jerry is survived by two sons; Roger Wayne York of Mansfield, Arkansas, Jerry Antonio York and wife Lourie of Charleston, Arkansas, six grandchildren; Bethany, Rachel, Joshua, Jalen, Sarah, Lourie-Anna York, one sister Martha Lynn York and by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha York, parents Les Smith and Ebie York and one brother John Martin York.

Visitation will be Friday September 10, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Hale officiating. Burial will follow the service at Tate Cemetery near Lavaca, Arkansas under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Jalen York, Sarah York, Lourie-Anna York, Jimmy Oswald, Brian Vinsant and John Hale.
