Matthew Allen Long

Matthew Allen Long, 49, of Waldron, Arkansas passed away on February 19, 2021. He was born January 9, 1972 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Larry Long and Beth (Gathright) Suits. Matthew was a loved member of the Hon community and the sweetest person you would ever meet. He was a member of the Hon Baptist Church and held the offering plate at church.

Matthew is survived by his mother Beth Suits and husband Billy of Waldron, father, Larry Long and wife Charlene of Waldron, one sister Wendy Long of Hon, four nieces and nephews; Chase Parker, Michaela Parker, Tuesday Parker of Booneville, Kristhn Johnson and Kannyon Johnson of Hon and by numerous other cousins, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his sister Sandra Lee Long, grandparents; Alberta and William F. Gathright, Ilene and O. H. Strickland.

Visitation will be Sunday February 21, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday February 22, 2021 at Hon Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Shivley and Bro. Ken Boyd officiating. Burial will be at Hon Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
